About the Program
Kemp Advisory Group works with Cornerstone Clay Community Development Corporation (“Cornerstone Clay”) to expand access to select business, career, workforce, entrepreneurship, and professional-development services. Eligible individuals may apply through Cornerstone Clay for financial assistance that may offset a portion or, in qualifying circumstances, all of the cost of an eligible service.
How It Works
- Choose an eligible service from Kemp Advisory Group.
- Apply directly through Cornerstone Clay’s application.
- Cornerstone Clay reviews applications under its own program guidelines.
- If an award is approved, Cornerstone Clay will contact you with next steps before your service begins.
Who May Receive Priority Consideration
Priority consideration may be available to qualifying:
- Veterans
- Transitioning service members
- Military spouses
- Current students
- Recent graduates
- Low-income individuals or households
- Unemployed individuals
- Underemployed individuals
- Single-parent households
- Workforce reentry participants
- Entrepreneurs experiencing financial hardship
- Residents of underserved or economically distressed communities
- Former foster youth transitioning to independence
- Returning citizens / reentry participants
- Individuals referred by schools
- Individuals referred by nonprofits
- Individuals referred by workforce organizations
- Other qualifying individuals with demonstrated financial need
Award Amounts
Approved awards may cover a portion or, in limited circumstances, the full cost of an eligible service. Award amounts depend on eligibility, program guidelines, available funding, and demonstrated service need.
