Meet the Founder
Meshayla Kemp holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Education in Educational Technology — a rare combination that bridges organizational strategy with the science of how people learn. With over a decade of cross-sector experience, she has built a reputation for designing systems that create lasting change, not just temporary compliance.
Her work spans K–12 and higher education curriculum design, healthcare onboarding and compliance programs, corporate organizational change, government workforce strategy, technology company digital transformation, and — as a deep area of specialization — the utility sector. For utility clients, Meshayla has led full-cycle organizational change management initiatives including enterprise platform migrations, stakeholder engagement strategies, and resistance mitigation at every level of the organization. She has simultaneously designed and delivered LMS-based compliance training, safety programs, and technical onboarding tailored specifically to the utility workforce — from the field to the control room.
Her signature achievement is a statewide workforce certification program designed from the ground up for the State of Michigan — complete with LMS-based courses, facilitator guides, job aids, assessments, and full compliance documentation. The State of Michigan approved it 100% on the first submission. No revisions. No second chances. That is the KAG standard on every engagement.
In 2026, Meshayla founded Kemp Advisory Group with a clear mandate: to deliver enterprise-level consulting to the organizations that need it most — government agencies, nonprofits, community institutions, and growing enterprises — with the same precision and professionalism that Fortune-level firms receive. As a Black woman entrepreneur rooted in East Texas, she brings both the expertise and the lived understanding to serve communities that have historically been underserved by the consulting industry.
